Oven slow to light and slower to heat, on a gas range installed in the 1990s. The igniter was drawing under three amps, too little for the valve, and once replaced the bake burner still ran short. Gas pressure at the range was low on a line shared with a basement water heater. We replaced the igniter, documented the pressure reading, and left the owner a note for her plumber.
The spare refrigerator that holds the holiday turkey went warm the week before Thanksgiving. Behind it we found a condenser wearing a wool coat of lint and a fan motor that had seized.
